Our Roots in Love and Language
Bloom Lingo started with a simple conversation between two best friends and new moms who were searching for the right books to help their toddlers learn a second language and stay connected to their mother tongue. As diaspora families, we came to realize that language is more than just words, it is a bridge to our elders, our history, and our sense of belonging.
We created Elias and Ayla to help other families navigate the beautiful and challenging journey of raising bilingual children. Every page we write is an invitation for learning.
The Hearts Behind Bloom Lingo

Growing up, my mother always insisted we speak Farsi and sacrificed her own comfort with English to preserve our language and culture. Since becoming a mom of two, Mahsa and I decided to create Bloom Lingo so families like ours would never lose the ability to pass that connection down to their children.
Mahsa Nasseri
When my daughter Ayla was born, I became determined to teach her Farsi. However, after many years of living in Canada my ability to read Farsi weakened and I was left reading her English books and translating them myself. Maryam and I wanted to create Bloom Lingo so parents like me can read stories to their bilingual children with confidence.
We are a small team with a big mission: helping your family's language bloom, one story at a time.
